Room was clean, a bit outdated but the view and staff were top notch! The bbq area was fantastic and worked great for our travel Thanksgiving dinner! We had a great view of the harbor and it was so convenient to take the stairs down to eat and shop (it's a bit of a hike on the way up so hiker beware lol) We decided to leave a day earlier then we had reserved and to my surprise they refunded our final night! I am thrilled about that! The staff were so friendly and helpful when we interacted with them. They also gave us a 10% discount to The Wharf restaurant! What a great bonus to a lovely meal! All in all I would definitely reccomend the Harbor Lite Lodge to anyone!
One of the best. You get to watch the sunset and rise from the balcony. Hear the harbor seals from your room. The staff was amazing I messed up the TV and couldn't get it working and they sent the Maintenance guys right away to make it work. Decided to stay a little longer and the manager Omie help with a bigger room and kitchen.
Solid value- quiet and clean with a harbor view (“upstairs King w/view”) for $119 midweek. Fun to watch the fishing boats come and go from balcony. Claimed full access down to harbor (stairway) is a little strenuous and sketchy in the dark.
We originally booked a room at another hotel that was undergoing construction, managed by the same folks. I greatly appreciated the open communication and willingness to accommodate us here, Omi and Sabrina went out of their way to make sure we were happy and well taken care of. The rooms were clean and comfortable with great views of the harbor. We enjoyed watching the sea lions swim by the bridge. The hot chocolate and tea in the cozy reception area were also nice. Would highly recommend, thank you!
We stay here maybe 2 x a year. Our go to place on the Mendocino Coast. Get a harbor view room! Rooms are very clean, not luxurious, but spacious. Staff is friendly. Can't say enough about how clean it is!
This place is great . Everyone that works here is very polite and nice . Beautiful location. Only thing I would like is a bar and restaurant, but those are all very close by . Very quiet and great place to just fall asleep. My wife and I live in Fort Bragg but use this place to get away from teenagers. lol great place pricy on weekends. As well as it should but weekdays very nice
Unexpected pleasure! This lodge is tucked away and overlooks the Noyo River. You can go to sleep or wake up to the sounds of seals in the harbor. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the amenities of the chain hotels for less dollars and more personable service. A friend recommended this place to us and we were very grateful. Had a kind size bed, with a balcony facing the water. It was a crystal clear night and sitting outside was very relaxing. Then the sea fog rolled in creating a more intriguing atmosphere. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations in this area.
Upon arrival, there was an unexpected issue with my room reservation; however, the hotel staff resolved the matter promptly and with great professionalism. Their courteous and efficient service ensured that I was accommodated comfortably without delay. I truly appreciate their dedication to guest satisfaction and would gladly stay here again.
